Service · Google Business Profile

Your highest-impact free marketing channel.

Your Google Business Profile is the free listing that puts you on Google Maps and in the local "near me" results, and for most Pakistani SMBs it sits half-finished. We claim, verify, optimise, and actively manage it so customers find you, call you, and choose you. It is a focused profile service; for the full search-and-maps program, see Local SEO.

PMDC-aware throughout. Every word published to a healthcare client's GBP passes PMDC's advertising rules.
You own the profile. You grant us manager access and can revoke it anytime, and we ask before posting.

What GBP management actually is

A Google Business Profile is the free listing Google shows for your business, the card that appears on Google Maps and in the Map Pack at the top of local results. It's the thing a customer taps to call you, get directions, see your hours, read your reviews, and look at your photos before deciding whether to walk in. For most Pakistani SMBs it's the first impression, and often the only one before the phone rings.

It is not a set-it-once-and-forget-it listing. A profile that's left alone quietly decays: information goes stale, anyone can "Suggest an edit" and change your hours or phone number, duplicate listings appear, and a profile that breaks Google's rules (or just gets caught in a sweep) can be suspended and vanish from Maps overnight. It is a live operational asset that needs watching, feeding, and defending. That ongoing work is what "management" means.

Management is also a deliberately narrow service. We claim, verify, optimise, and run your profile, but ranking your whole business across Google involves more than the profile alone: website SEO, content, citations, and links all feed each other. If that's what you need, GBP is the on-ramp, not the destination. See the full Local SEO program →

GBP vs Local SEO: which do you need?

They overlap, but they're not the same job. Here's the honest split, so you buy the one that actually fits where you are.

Choose GBP management

  • Your free Google listing is the priority, that's where your calls come from.
  • You already have a website, or you don't need one yet.
  • You just want the Map Pack handled properly: claimed, verified, optimised, managed.

Choose Local SEO

  • You want website rankings and Maps together, the full search picture.
  • You need content, Pakistani citations, and the technical SEO foundations done.
  • GBP management is bundled in, not a separate line item.

What's included

Six things, every month.

GBP isn't a "set up once and forget it" listing. The clinics that compound rankings are the ones that get all six right, every month.

Full claim & verification

Postcard, SMS, email, or video verification, whichever path Google offers for your business type. We handle the multi-week back-and-forth Google sometimes requires, and coach you through video verification so it passes the first time.

All relevant categories

Up to 10 categories per profile. Most clinics use 1-2 and miss most of their relevant searches. We map your services to every category Google offers for your business type, the foundation Local SEO then builds on. See how categories feed local ranking →

Real photos & descriptions

15+ real photos of the interior, exterior with shop board visible, team, and equipment. Profiles with photos get roughly 42% more direction requests than those without (Google data), so this is not decoration, it is demand. The 750-character description stays within PMDC for healthcare clients.

Regular Google Posts

2-4 posts a month: service updates, hours changes, seasonal content. A profile that posts looks live to both customers and Google; a dormant one looks abandoned. This is the step most businesses quietly drop after the first month.

PMDC-compliant review workflow

A one-tap review request your front desk sends after every appointment, with a pre-written prompt that meets PMDC's "no clinical outcome claim" rules. The goal is a steady stream of new reviews, asked the compliant way, not a one-off burst that looks engineered.

Q&A and review responses

We monitor your Q&A and review feed weekly and reply professionally to both good and bad reviews. It matters: 89% of people read a business's replies, and 56% say a good reply to a negative review improved their view of the business (BrightLocal 2024). All PMDC-compliant where applicable.

Verification, and the part that goes wrong

Two things derail more Pakistani profiles than anything else: getting verified in the first place, and getting suspended after. Both are fixable, and both are where "managed" earns its keep.

Verification. Google now asks most Pakistani businesses to verify by video, and a vague video is the most common reason a first attempt fails. We don't visit your premises and we don't claim to. We coach you through it remotely. We tell you exactly what the video needs to show: permanent signage with your business name, the exact address matching your profile, and you actually operating the business. Then we review your video before you submit it, so it passes the first time instead of burning an attempt. The full claim-and-verify walkthrough is here.

Suspension and reinstatement. Suspensions are rising, and a suspended profile is invisible: it disappears from Maps and the Map Pack until it's restored, taking your calls with it. The appeal is technical, not a form you just resubmit: you have to find and fix the actual cause first, prepare the evidence Google asks for, then file and track the appeal. On the Local Growth retainer, suspension monitoring and reinstatement help are included. For a one-time GBP Setup it's quoted separately. What we never do is promise the outcome; the decision is Google's, and that honest caveat lives in the FAQ below.

Yours, completely

You stay the owner. We work as your Manager.

Your Google account stays the Primary Owner of the listing from day one. We're added as a Manager, access you can remove in one click, any month, with no permission needed from us. We ask before we post anything to your profile. And if you ever leave, you keep the profile, every review on it, and every login. No contracts, cancel any month.

  • You are the Primary Owner
Your Google account holds the listing, not ours.
  • We are a Manager you control
Remove our access in one click, any month.
  • We ask before we post
Nothing goes on your profile without your nod.
  • If you leave, you keep everything
The profile, the reviews, and every login stay yours.
How we do it

From unclaimed to compounding in 30 days.

Most setups complete in week 1-2. Verification is the variable, and what you do at each step, especially the verification video, sets the pace.

1

GBP audit

We audit your existing profile (claimed or not), your nearby competitors, and the categories you should be ranking for, and flag any verification blockers up front.

Your part: You tell us your business name, exact address, and what you offer.

Day 1-2
2

Claim & verify

Whichever method Google offers for your business type. Most Pakistani profiles now need video verification. We tell you exactly what to film and review it before you submit, because a vague or mismatched video is the most common reason a first attempt fails.

Your part: You film the short verification video to our brief; we check it before you send it.

Week 1-2
3

Optimise & populate

All categories live, 15+ real photos uploaded, the 750-character description written, services and service areas configured, hours including holidays.

Your part: You share photos, logo, hours, and confirm the service list.

Week 2-3
4

Ongoing management

Regular posts, monthly photo updates, the review workflow live with your front desk, Q&A monitored, suspensions watched for, and a monthly Insights report.

Your part: You keep sending review requests; we handle everything else and report monthly.

Common questions

GBP, demystified.

The questions Pakistani SMB owners actually ask in our calls: verification, suspensions, ownership, and the honest limits of what we can promise. If yours isn't here, WhatsApp us.

Do you guarantee I'll rank #1 or show in the Map Pack?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google explicitly warns against agencies that promise specific rankings, because no one controls where the Map Pack places you. What we commit to is the work that earns it: full categories, real photos, a steady Posts cadence, a working review workflow, and Q&A kept current, plus a plain monthly Insights report so you see the movement. The ranking follows the work; we show you the work.

Will I own the GBP profile after?

Yes, fully. The Google account that owns the listing is yours from day one. We're added as a manager, not the owner, and you can revoke that access anytime. We ask before posting anything to your profile. If you ever leave us, we step back and walk away. No GBP-rental, no holding the listing hostage.

What if Google rejects my claim?

It happens, usually because Google can't verify the address, or because someone else already claimed the listing. We handle all the back-and-forth: alternate verification methods, the Suggest an edit Maps fix when your address isn't recognised, the ownership-transfer dispute when an old freelancer claimed your listing and disappeared. The full claim-and-verify process is written up here.

The free audit checks verification feasibility before anything starts, so if your business genuinely can't be verified yet (it happens for very new addresses), we flag it up front and you never pay for setup that can't be delivered.

Postcard verification is taking forever in DHA / Bahria, what now?

Newer DHA phases (Lahore Phase 5-8, Karachi Phase 6+) and parts of Bahria Town are often missing or mis-mapped in Google Maps' base layer, which causes postcard verification to fail. Standard fix: open Google Maps, find your business, submit "Suggest an edit" with your exact block/street + a photo of your shop board. After Maps updates the address (1-2 weeks), we re-request the postcard.

Some clinics in these areas are eligible for video verification instead. We check that path first if it's available.

I already have a GBP, can you take over?

Yes, this is the most common case. You add us as a manager (no need to transfer ownership), we audit what's there, and we extend it: more categories, more photos, written-out description, posts, review workflow. The existing reviews stay; we just build on top.

If a previous freelancer claimed your listing and you've lost access, we handle the Google ownership-transfer process. It takes 7 days and a few back-and-forths but works.

How long until reviews start compounding?

There's no fixed number. It depends on how many customers you see and how consistently your front desk sends the request. What we set up is a steady stream of new reviews, asked the compliant way, rather than a one-off burst that looks engineered to Google. Within a couple of months, a steady review pace plus replies typically starts moving your rating and your Map Pack position together. Here's why a thin review profile keeps dental clinics out of the 3-pack. The honest version: it only works if the request actually gets sent after each appointment. If your team forgets, we simplify the workflow until it sticks.

Do you respond to negative reviews?

We draft responses to every review (positive and negative) and send them to you for approval before posting. Negative reviews are not a marketing problem. They're a clinic operations problem dressed up as one. Our response acknowledges the patient, doesn't argue, doesn't disclose clinical details (that last part matters because PMDC's advertising rules govern what a clinic can say publicly) and offers to take the conversation offline.

For reviews that violate Google's policies (fake, defamatory, off-topic), we file the takedown request and follow up. Genuine bad reviews stay.

Why do video verifications fail, and what does the video need to show?

Google now asks most Pakistani profiles to verify by video, and first attempts fail more often than people expect, almost always because the video doesn't prove the three things Google is checking. Your video needs to show, in one unbroken take: permanent signage with your business name (a printed shop board, not a banner), the exact address matching what's on the profile (street sign or building number), and you actually operating the business (unlocking the door, using the equipment, accessing the back office).

We don't visit your premises. We coach you through it remotely. We give you a shot-by-shot brief of exactly what to film, then review your video before you submit it, so it passes the first time instead of burning an attempt. The claim-and-verify walkthrough covers the full process.

My profile got suspended, can you get it back?

We can help, and reinstatement support is included in the Local Growth retainer (for one-time GBP Setup it's quoted separately). Suspensions are rising, and a suspended profile is invisible: it vanishes from Maps and the Map Pack until it's restored. The appeal is technical, not a form you just resubmit: first we find and fix the actual cause (a keyword-stuffed name, an address Google reads as a mismatch, a category that triggered a policy flag), then we prepare the evidence Google wants, file the appeal, and track it.

What we won't do is promise an outcome. The decision is Google's alone, and anyone who guarantees reinstatement is guessing. What we commit to is doing the appeal properly and keeping you informed, and, going forward, running your profile the honest way so it doesn't get flagged again.
