Web Development Lawyers

Law firm websites that turn researchers into booked consultations .

Pakistani law firms operate under Pakistan Bar Council advertising rules that limit what marketing can say: no superlatives, no outcome guarantees, no client-name testimonials without consent. Most marketing agencies don't even know these rules exist. We build law firm websites that work within those rules: practice-area pages that rank for the matters your clients actually Google, lawyer profiles with verifiable credentials, and inquiry routing that connects emergency matters to bail-savvy partners and planning matters to inheritance-savvy partners.

PBC-compliant by default. Every practice-area page, every credential statement, every client testimonial passes Pakistan Bar Council advertising rules.

Why generic web dev fails law firms

Law firm websites are a regulated category of build.

Generic developers build a brochure with a "Services" page and a contact form. Law firms need PBC-compliant practice-area pages, lawyer profiles with verifiable credentials, and matter-routing intake, three things generic developers don't even know are concerns.

Generic web development serves Pakistani law firms badly in three specific ways. First: generic developers ship "Services" pages with bullet points instead of practice-area pages with depth. Pakistani clients searching for "succession certificate for overseas Pakistanis," "khula procedure," or "FBR notice response" want to read about their specific matter at depth before requesting a consultation. A generic services bullet doesn't earn the shortlist. Second: generic developers write "best inheritance lawyer in Lahore" copy that's a PBC rule violation. Pakistan Bar Council's Code of Conduct prohibits superlative claims, comparative advertising, and outcome guarantees. Competitor lawyers file bar complaints over this regularly. Third: generic developers don't know the overseas Pakistani search opportunity exists. Around nine million Pakistanis abroad search Google in English for legal matters back home, and most law firm websites are calibrated only to local search. The diaspora segment goes to whichever firm's website actually addresses their cross-border matter.

What we build is the opposite. Practice-area pages structured around how clients describe their matter (not how lawyers categorise it), lawyer profiles with PBC enrollment / courts of practice / fellowships displayed publicly, PBC-compliant copy reviewed line-by-line before publication, matter-routing inquiry forms that connect emergency matters to bail-savvy partners and planning matters to inheritance-savvy partners, and English-language overseas Pakistani pages that capture the diaspora search layer most firms don't even know exists.

The unique architecture

PBC-compliant practice-area page architecture, built right.

Four pieces of web infrastructure no generic developer will build for you, but every Pakistani law firm with public-facing content needs. Together they let your firm rank for real client searches while staying inside Pakistan Bar Council rules.

01

Structured practice-area pages

Every practice-area page follows the same PBC-safe structure: the matter described in client language (not legal jargon), who's eligible, the legal process step-by-step, fee structure with honest ranges, next step as a request-consultation CTA. Ranks for "succession certificate for overseas Pakistanis," "khula procedure Lahore," "FBR notice response Karachi", the queries clients actually run.

Page template · PBC-reviewed copy · matter-language H1s
02

Outcome framing without guarantees

Past matters presented as de-identified case summaries: the type of matter, the legal framework applied, the procedural outcome (e.g., "successfully obtained succession certificate within 4 months"), never comparative claims, never "we win" framing, never client names without explicit written consent. PBC-compliant proof of competence that converts without the rule risk.

Case-summary template · de-identification workflow · no superlatives
03

Client testimonial format that's discretion-safe

Anonymised testimonials with client initials or generic identifier (e.g., "M.A., overseas Pakistani, UK"), no case details, no outcome statements, focus on the firm's communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. Where clients consent to be named, full consent records stored. The format works for sensitive matters (family law, criminal defense) where named testimonials would be inappropriate even with permission.

Anonymised template · written-consent records · no outcome claims
04

Matter-routing inquiry forms

Each practice-area page has its own inquiry form that routes to the right partner for that matter type. Emergency matters (criminal defense, cyber crime FIA, urgent bail) route to the bail-savvy partner with phone preference. Planning matters (inheritance, business formation, immigration) route to the document-savvy partner with email or video-consultation preference. Different intake fields per matter type so the first response is substantive.

What we build

Six things every converting law firm site has.

The web infrastructure that ranks on practice-area searches, signals real legal practice, and converts research-led clients into booked consultations. None of it requires a template; all of it is custom-built for your firm's practice mix and partner structure.

Practice-area pages per priority

A dedicated page for each practice area you actually want more of, typically 4 to 7 pages: inheritance & overseas Pakistani matters, family / divorce, property, tax / FBR / business formation, cyber crime, immigration, criminal defense. Each calibrated to its own client search pattern and partner expertise.

Lawyer profile pages with PBC credentials

Named lead practitioner with PBC enrollment number, courts of practice, years of practice, university, fellowships publicly stated. Multi-partner firms get a profile per partner with practice-area specialisation marked. Trust signals clients actually look for, not stock-photo "Our Team" sections.

PBC-compliant copy throughout

Every word reviewed against PBC's Code of Conduct under the Pakistan Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act 1973 before publication. No superlative claims, no comparative advertising, no outcome guarantees, no client-name testimonials without explicit consent. Honest framing that converts the serious clients.

Matter-routing inquiry forms

Per-practice-area inquiry forms that route to the right partner with the right intake fields. Emergency matters get phone-preferred routing with 24-hour response commitment; planning matters get email or video-consultation preference. Diaspora clients get an English-language form with international-calling option built in.

Overseas Pakistani English search infrastructure

English-language practice-area pages calibrated to overseas Pakistani search patterns ("inheritance lawyer Pakistan for overseas Pakistanis", "succession certificate Pakistan from UK / USA / UAE"), schema markup helping Google identify diaspora-relevant practice, video consultation option built into the inquiry flow.

SEO foundations + speed optimization

Schema markup for LegalService + Attorney + LocalBusiness per practice area, sub-3-second mobile load on Pakistani 3G/4G networks AND on UK/US/Middle East phones reaching Pakistan servers, Core Web Vitals passing, sitemap and robots.txt configured. The boring work that actually drives Google rankings.

Law firm web questions

What law firms ask about web development.

Six questions that come up on most law firm web calls. If yours isn't here, WhatsApp us.

What's the right number of practice-area pages to launch with?

Four to seven pages at launch, one per practice area you actually want more of. Clients don't search for "law firm Lahore" generically; they search for their specific matter: "succession certificate for overseas Pakistanis," "khula procedure," "FBR notice response," "cyber crime FIA complaint." Each is a different intent and needs its own dedicated page.

We recommend launching with practice areas in roughly this priority order: (1) inheritance + overseas Pakistani matters, (2) family / divorce, (3) property, (4) tax / FBR / business formation, (5) cyber crime, (6) immigration, (7) criminal defense. Add more practice-area sub-pages over time as Search Console data shows which searches earn impressions. Launching twenty pages on day one usually results in twenty mediocre pages; launching seven solid pages and adding more quarterly compounds faster.

How do you handle the PBC compliance review process?

Every piece of copy is reviewed against PBC's Code of Conduct under the Pakistan Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act 1973 before it goes live. Our compliance checklist covers: no superlative claims (no "best," "top," "leading"), no comparative advertising (no comparison to other lawyers or firms), no outcome guarantees (no "we win," no win-rate percentages), no client-name testimonials without explicit written consent, no solicitation language that pulls clients away from another practitioner.

For final sign-off, we present the full site copy to your firm's PBC-compliance partner (usually the senior partner) for line-by-line review before publication. Where there's ambiguity on a specific claim, we err on the side of removing it. This isn't legal advice (the compliance responsibility ultimately sits with your firm) but the workflow filters out the obvious violations before they reach the page.

Can we display client testimonials? Under what conditions?

Yes, with care. The default format is anonymised testimonials: client initials or generic identifier ("M.A., overseas Pakistani, UK"), no case details, no outcome statements, focus on the firm's professionalism, responsiveness, and communication. This works for any practice area without risk.

For matters where a client is willing to be publicly identified (typically business / corporate / overseas-Pakistani inheritance clients who are comfortable with their matter being public), we use a written-consent record documenting exactly what the client agreed to display (name, role, organisation, specific quote) with a clearly-stated time-limit on the consent. For sensitive matters (family law, criminal defense, cyber crime), we recommend anonymised format even where a client offers to be named, because the client's later regret is real and the public-record visibility persists.

How do you build the overseas Pakistani search pages?

Three things in combination. (1) English-language practice-area pages calibrated to overseas Pakistani search patterns: phrases like "inheritance lawyer Pakistan for overseas Pakistanis," "succession certificate Pakistan from UK," "property dispute Pakistan from USA," "child custody Pakistan from UAE." These rank because most Pakistani law firms write their pages for local search and miss the diaspora keyword variants entirely. (2) Schema markup tagging the firm as serving "Pakistani matters for overseas clients", helps Google understand which firms surface for diaspora queries. (3) A video consultation option built into the inquiry flow, with a clear "we serve clients abroad" CTA on each page. Most diaspora clients can't visit Pakistan immediately and need to confirm representation before booking flights.

The overseas Pakistani segment often has higher fees than local equivalents and lower fee resistance. The marketing investment recoups disproportionately fast per signed diaspora engagement.

What about emergency-matter routing (criminal defense, cyber crime, urgent bail)?

Emergency matters get a separate intake path. The criminal defense, cyber crime, and urgent bail pages have phone-preferred CTAs with a 24-hour response commitment displayed visibly. These clients are calling from an FIA office, a police station, or a family member's home, and they need a partner on the phone fast, not a form-fill workflow.

The intake form for emergency matters captures: matter type (criminal / cyber / bail / FIR), urgency level, location (which police station or court), preferred contact method (call back vs WhatsApp), and brief description. Routes immediately to the bail-savvy partner's phone with WhatsApp fallback. Compare to planning matters (inheritance, business formation), which route to email or video-consultation preferences because there's no time pressure. The routing infrastructure is what makes the difference between a converting law firm site and a brochure that loses urgent matters to a competitor who answered the phone first.

How long does a full law firm website take to build?

Typical timelines: four to six weeks for a solo practitioner or small-partner firm with 4-5 practice areas and 1-2 lawyer profiles. Six to ten weeks for a multi-partner firm with 6-7 practice areas, multi-partner profiles, and overseas Pakistani search infrastructure.

What slows projects down most often: waiting on partner-credential documentation (PBC enrollment numbers, courts of practice, fellowship records), waiting on PBC-compliance review by the firm's senior partner, waiting on testimonial-consent collection from past clients. We provide a content brief upfront so the gating items are clear before kickoff. PBC compliance review can add 1-2 weeks if the firm wants line-by-line partner approval on every page. We factor this into the timeline depending on your preference.
